Thanks nick. I just got thru a test run, not too bad with stock steering stuff. The lockers sure make it. Some of my tire choices are shorter than the stock ones and I think the tall stock ones might be best when I go to narrow wheels.

choices are older stampede tires, new stampede talon tires, wheelyking tires, I'm trying not to buy any,lol.

what shocks did you get 7?
Here's pics of the Talon Pede tires with the narrowest offset (rear stampede) the fronts have a bit more offset and may do a bit better. All in all the stock WK tires did better on my debris ridden trails. Lots of sand, logs, woods. I overlooked the fact that the wheels are 2.8 " too. I may have to order tires after all. []
