Default Help. RC advice needed!

A total newbie, looking for RC advice!

My '06 Dodge Charger has the "Auto-stick" feature, which enables manual control of gearshifts by left or right movements of the gearshift lever, using two micro-switches at the bottom of the lever.

I would like to build a system with a pair of additional switches (in parallel with the existing ones) which would be operated wirelessly by two pressure switches on the steering wheel, thus allowing gearshifts without removing ones hands from the wheel. I'm looking for an RC system to handle this due to the difficulty of accommodating rotation of the steering wheel with a hard-wired system.

The basic requirements appear to be:

two channels
small transmitter, able to be concealed inside the steering wheel (say 1"X1"X2")
transmitter, battery or 12V DC powered
range, no more than 3 ft.

Any suggestions or leads would be appreciated.
