hey guys, i'm still working on getting my cane xp ready for the track. i'm in the process of rebuilding the diff's w/ new oil. someone told me to use 5f 7c 2r. however, i could not find 2000 wt diff oil at my lhs so i settled for 3000. is this going to make a big difference? also, when i reinstall my center diff., the actuall diff. (not the gear mesh) gets so tight that i can't even spin it. does any one know what the problem might be? one of the towers that holds the diff. has a shim in it but the other side does not. i'm wondering if i lost a shim in the rebuilding process and that is the problem. any help would be appreciated b/c i haven't even got to fire this bad boy up yet!
