RE: Nitro models Bobcat-50 assy
I have built from scratch,kits and several arfs. The only thing I really needed in the manual was the cg. Some other searches have found a lot more suitable cg for this plane. I have reinforced the problem areas discussed and decided to use standard size servos throughout. I am running a Super-tiger 51 ringed with a OS P-box muffler fitted to it. I'm not sure what kind of speed this setup will see but I am looking forward to it. I did lengthen the nose gear to give it a little positive incidence for quicker lift off. The guys putting turbines on this thing are to be commended or committed. I watched some of their videos and it was amazing. I would love to try it but my budget is not in to turbines yet. Maybe some day.
