RE: New 52cc Engine
I know of one shop with one person that has the ability to rebuild about 100 engines a month. That shop does not make new engines, nor does it assemble multi piece crankshafts, which take quite a bit of time to do correctly. If it was my business and my shop I would for darn sure want to clear my tables of old issues before I started the distribution of a new product regardless of how many new engines I had made up and ready to ship.
The moment the first engine is delivered a manufacturer can anticipate calls about problems from the buyers. That's especially true with the less expensive engines because those will be the ones bought by people without the necessary means to aquire the upper level engines. That often also equates with people that have limited to zero knowledge of what to do with their new engine and burn the things up "breaking them in" on the bench. You see it here in this forum all the time.
If someone is having buyers remorse over a pre release deposit then ask for your money back. Ye of little faith....as the story goes. If you're not having a problem with a slight delay, as I would not have a problem, especially with this manufacturer, then simply wait a bit longer
