ORIGINAL: Black Angel

you know what would be a good idea? ( ok,maybe not so good )
on the flywheel or some moving engine part install small auxiliary generator that will provide emergency power to the reciver.
when the battery goes under operating minimum the reciver is taking power from the generator.
generator shoud be operating in middle engine rpm.
generator operating rpm could be adjusted to your taste with resistors.
when the generator is operating on the engine high rpm admeasure the voltage an then with the resistors adjust voltage to your reciver voltage requirements.
for generator could be used small 3V DC engine or something stronger.
there is more details about this idea but this in never been tested by me and im not so sure that this will work.
so an alternator? Ya that would be more pain than its worth. Just quit running when you feel the car start to lose throttle responce. Or get a failsafe. Just my 2 cants.
