You ask for a quick answer and I gave one.........fact is there are charging systems out there that will sustain charges in air planes and are used frequently, but one hard jar and the unit is done most of the time. The beating on the ground that a car or truck take or would give a generator makes it not worth the time it would take to invest in it an that small a scale. Step up a thousand dollars or so and you get into 1/5 and 1/4 class that hold enough fuel to run for an hour or so they have alternators for those that are workable................so my short answer is still NO................lol[&o]No because what good would it do to have something keep a charge for a prolonged period and you still have to stop every 10 minutes???????????????
