As the subject implies what are the advantages (other than scale looks) and disadvantages (other than price) of 3 or 4 bladed props over 2? It seems they would provide more thrust but wouldn't they also put more strain on the motor requiring a smaller prop? If a plane flew a 23x8 two bladed for example what 3 bladed would be roughly equivalent to that for the motor?
