I guess I don' know what you mean by switch harness. I have seperate switch harness's in all my airplanes. They are either Spektrum/JR or MPI 3 wire switches. I learned that the two wire switches won't work with the Spektrum system bind plug. In plugging in the battery directly into the receiver battery port without a switch, yes I can rebind with no problem, but it does not eliminate the startup non linking problem. Believe me we have tried that many times, I even went to the extent on one of my other airplanes wit a two waire to put a 6" ext outside the fusalage just to plug in my extra switch, battery and bind plug.
