Default RE: DX-7 Losing Bind

Danny,
The bind button on my transmitter sticks out about I'D say around 1/8" from the back of the transmitter. If I set it on a large flat surface than the handle hits and its 3/4" or better like you stated. We have these flying stands that hold our planes off the ground. There is a board in the front 1"x6" I'm guessing that you can lay your transmitter and starter on. When I do this the handle hangs in the air and doesn't touch the board. Hence why I think this could be part of my problem. I really didn't realize pressing the bind button on start up would cause that. I'll pay more attention next week when I fly to make sure I don't press it. I've been around Jim's and his does it all the time. Its just about like clockwork. Were the only 2 so far in our club thats had a problem. I'll report if I still have problems, or if its been my fault all along.
I realize its not happening a lot, but it would be nice to relocate this switch to somewere else, like the top or front of the transmitter. Were is the bind button on the new JR 9303 and 12 channel that are coming out?
