Default RE: how long can a .16 Vertex High Quality Engine last?

Power loss yes just A new piston and sleeve will make it like new again,,,,, Now whether or not to but them or A new motor as prices are sometimes high that's another question. And aircraft fuel is A completely different fuel than our nitro blend. I am not sure but I dont know if it would fry our motors or just make them run like crap. Not sure but anyhow I don't know how your doin it but if the motor only last 1 gallon something is definitely wrong!!!!!! My motors are A phantom fz-15 and A team orien .12. The orien has at least 12 gallons thru it and the phantom I quit counting after the 16th, so they do last if you take care of them... And i don't bother with after run oil or anything I hate the stuff, It's A waste of money if you ask me I know a lot on here will disagree but the fuel you use is supposed to "coat" your engine anyway and that's exactly what my fuel does. So I put them up for weeks on end and when I get ready I just slowly pull the pull start till they are good and loose then they fire right up every time! Watch I bragged and they'll never start again!
