Depends on the age of that Tigre. Before INDY RC sold out and became a part of Horizon, they did market a bunch of ST 2500 with the 2000 stamped on the case. I think ST was just using up old 2000 cases in a bored-out engine. That happened right after the time GP took over the importation of ST and OS from World Engines.
Indy alluded to that point.
I still have one NIB. The 2500 was a good performer in those days. The 3000 was a bit of a pain as the same carb was on all the engines 2000, 2500, and 3000. Not a good plan. Relates to how GP now markets the ST, all with one carb, 40-75, with a thinned spray-bar for the 60-75. Not a good plan.
The 2500 should fly the model OK, however it will be a non-racer! Know whut ah mean, pard! No ZOOM take-offs. [X(]
