Default RE: BUSA Fokker Dr1

I built my own air box from cardboard and furnace air filters. Use a dust collector to provide the negative air flow. Yes I am using a
Badger air brush and acrylic latex enamels purchased from Michael's Crafts. Overcoated with Minwax satin polyurethane. The slight yellowing actualy looks realistic on this plane. I am building a Sig clip wing cub and I plan on using the acrylic enamel to paint it with and Warbirds latex clear to overcoat with. The Dr is cover with Solartex but the Cub will be covered with Koverall. I found a great sealer, glue, filler that is water based and makes the covering job much easier than even Solartex. Back in the days of Silk and Dope, if we had this stuff finishing would have been a breeze!.

No flight on the Dr yet. Business[:@] got in the way last weekend and the club has flying field activities this weekend. Flight report will be posted!
