I'm not sure if there are any tutorials on how to do this on a MiniV. Your goal would be to make it into a true surface drive with a neutral angle (0 deg.) on the prop shaft. You are sort of limited because they are pretty new boats and haven't seen much in the way of mods.
You basically need to remove the Proboat driveline and switch it to a flex with a stuffing tube. Octura .098 flex is what I use on my brushless Gecko and I haven't had any problems with strength. If you did this, you would need to install a rudder because the steerable outdrive would be either be fixed to hold brass for the prop shaft bushing or replaced with a strut. I think I'd go the cheaper route and just glass in a stuffing tube that will hold a 5/32" (I think) brass tube that would serve as the 1/8" prop shaft bushing.
