I have been flying JR for years and its been the BEST for me. Recently I bought a Spektrum DX7 radio system which I now fly in my heli's. The DX7 by Spektrum is using JR design and programming. I found that its alot like JR. You may want to consider the DX7 also or one of the new JR systems with 2.4 GHZ spread spectrum technology. The 2.4 GHZ band is interference free. You can fly without the chance of someone turning on a transmitter on your channel and shooting you down. Also no motor noise or electrical interference which may cause glitching in your receiver. Check out the new 2.4 GHZ systems by Spectrum and JR. Just another option.
