Well I was running my truck i think on sunday and it was making a high pitch screeching noise and it looked like the spur gear's teeth were stripped. So i bought a new spur gear and all they had was a 76 tooth so i put that on ther and I also put the other pinion on. I went to run it and the throttle will not work. The steering works fine but no throttle at all. I put a new battery in and the same problem so i dont know what to do. All I did was mess around with the pinion and spur gear nothing else. Why wont my motor work?


hey its fixed!!! i called traxxas and they had me reprogram the speed control. That fixed it! It was so funny cuz i had the motor outside of the transmission and after re-programming the guy said press the throttle to see if it works. So i press the throttle and the motor screams to life and jerks and scares the crap out of me and the guy on the phone is laughing at me. It was funny so ya i dont know wut happened i guess i just had to reprogram the speed control and all is well now!
