Hello, i'm new to the forums. I'm building a jet bike and wanted to come to the professionals so here i am. I do airbrush and paitwork on motorcycles. I'm now painting mine, a 2004 CBR Fireblade. I'm also in the Navy Reserves so i'm making this bike a tribute to the F14. I wanted it to sound like an F14 so i have considered putting in a turbine. My question is do these sound like a jet, smell like a jet etc and how hot do they get? Any imput would be helpful. Thanks

knowing a fireblade i would go for a small VERY loud thus meaning high rpm,s
get a Wren 44 build it inside the saddle compartment aft , let the cone stick out.
pain the inside with some ceramic heat shield paint
have a small servotester doing the full autostart sequense...
and have fun!
one one liter this thing can run for 10 minutes

I appreciate the info guys...all of you. I know they get very hot, but how hot is hot. I'm assuming hot enough to melt plastic, so i would need to know a temperature range for the heat shield paint. Thanks again.
