Are the driveshafts the extra longs meant for use with the extra long lower arms?
They are not suppose to be. I can tell you for sure that they are the same length as the stock dogbones. I had the same issue with the stock diff and stock dogbones. I was told that upgrading to elcon diff and elcon ball drive setup would fix this problem.
