I took my Super Cub out today for it's maiden flight. First good weekend we have had in almost a month. I took the plane out last week but left the wing tube at home.

There is a father and son team at the field helped train me to fly. The son took the Cub up first to check it out. It took off with NO PROBLEMS being powered by a G-23. I know that some people put a bigger engine in it, but mine flew Great with the 23 under the cowl. Once he checked it over he gave me the controls. WOW is all I can say. Great plane. I gave the controls back to him and he landed it. His father was busy when we went up the first time and he wanted to fly it. So as he did with me while I was training, he made me take the plane off. I powered up eased off of the elevator and when at full power lifted off. I flew it for a while and then gave him the controls. He looped it and did some other maneuvers. He gave me the controls back and I landed it. It was smooth as a baby's bottom. GREAT PLANE!!!! I highly recommend it.
