I've seen guys use red and gray primer and wonder why the color is darker than the covering.

I understand the use of different color primer coats affects the the final color of the topcoat. Lighter primers will produce a different shade on the topcoat than darker primers.It's all in the experimentation.

Will the iron used for Monokote soften or even melt the plastic wingtips?
