ALWAYS KILL THE ENGINE TO MAKE LOW SPEED ADJUSTMENTS this is a no brainer guys seriously.

I would not change anything until a tank or two was through it first. I only turn the low end screw the width of the screwdriver slot then restart the motor. if your gonna make a mistake here do it by going to rich. leaning that out to soon can cause problems.

do to tightness and more heat production in a motor that has not been run in, they can be a little to a lot finicky. go VERY slow on low end changes. Both the low end and high speed adjustments change the distance between each other this is why you need to reset the high speed needle often when working on setting the low speed or idle. A well set engine is a joy to fly.
