Default Breaking in OS .46AX with Bisson Muffler

Hi all.

I just bought a new OS .46AX engine to power my Somethin Extra kit I'm building, and also got a Pitts muffler so I can make a cowl to cover everything up nicely.

My question is, should I break the motor in with the factory supplied exhaust, or would it be a better idea to use the Pitts muffler, seeing as thats what will reside on the engine.

Or does it even matter which I use??

My first .46AX I broke in on the plane and she is a little ripper, but I was intending on breakin this one in on the bench.
Are break ins still highly advisable for engines, or is it a bit of an old wives tale??

Cheers
Sean
