instructors in North NJ?
I have a raptor 30 V2 with an OS 32, futaba servos and gryo, and an 8 channel futaba radio. I had it set up for me (radio wise) once and it flew great and I did a good job trying on my first hover. The only issue was that the throttle cut wouldn't work and the guys told me to fix that when I went home. Well, not only could I not figure out how to get the idle cut to work, but I was looking on raptor technique and followed their instructions for doing so and ended up changing way too much with the radio settings. So I'm sure now it's far out of "programed"!
I want to get back into learning to fly it, but not only do I need an instructor, but I also need someone willing to help me get it to the point of air worthy. I'd be willing to pay. I work up in North Jersey 5 days a week (Wednesdays through Sundays) at skydive sussex and also live there while at work. I'm a jump pilot, but after work it can get pretty boring!
Is anyone in the area willing to help out? I'll only be working up there until the end of October, so joining an AMA club really isn't a good option for me. Thanks in advance.
Also, I'm not a newbie to the sport. I've been in and out of the hobby with RC planes for about 8 years.
