Default RE: need help finding Cessna skymaster kit

I have built both the Royal and the Aviomodelli. The royal is a balsa work of art. If you are a balsa basher then go for it but to describe it as a kit is perhaps stretching a point. Its a plan with the right amount of balsa to make the subject from and the main shapes cut out. the builder still has a lot to do though. I enjoy that but not everyone does. the Aviomodelli is a semi kit. The fuse and booms are definiyely a kit but the wings are foam and already covered in a plastic like coating. The fuse is basically a pre-jigged plywood affair. It goes together quickly and easily but is very heavy. Judicious lightening is advised and possible. With some TLC a decent effort can be made and its a nice size of aircraft too (the royal is a bit small and twitchy). If you are a mega scale buff you'll need to do quite lot to the Aviomodelli to get a really scale look. I'm not that fanatical and it looks just fine in the air. I'd say the Aviomodelli is great if you like to build but have limited time. It is not however almost ready to fly!!! I have a link to an online build somewhere . If you're interested I'll look it up,

cheers,
