Wow, you guys are a tough crowd. As far as being a super 3Der, highly doubt it. However I don't think that was the target (although HH does over embelish a bit in the description). I'll probably get one as a fun fly-sunday flier-throw around plane just for kicks. I would consider this a super trainer plane. Easy enough to fly on low rates, but actually capable of some fun with higher rates.

The wing has no dihedral, and is completely simitrical. There would be no self-righting capability, which is necessary for a beginning pilot. Therefore, this would not be suitable as a primary trainer, and doubtful as even a second plane. The design looks to be less forgiving than a Tiger 2 or 4-Star.
I don't think everybody who purchases this would be that highly interested in 3D. The thick airfoil on that high wing, though, would make this a good plane for fields with tall grass landing strips. I especially like the idea of its maneuverability for tighter areas. Thick tundra tires would do this machine some good, and certainly a set of skis for the winter. I would not mind seeing a float version too.
