This is exactly why you should not use poly glue to join the wings.
You might find some strange curves on the top and bottom of the wings, where it exapnded and blew the top or bottom of the joiner box out.
Worse would be its blowing one side of the box, and your not seeing it until you picked up the pieces at the flying field. After the wing tips met each other in flight, of course.
Just use 30 minute epoxy. Figure how much you think you need for one side, and double it. When you stick the joiner in, be sure there is epoxy oozing out, after the joiner is in place clean the excess epoxy... You know all that.
Use epoxy. Simple. Leave it at that.
