RE: Important JetCat Announcement from the JetPower Show!
What a confusing warranty statement. It's awful nice of them to offer to let you transfer your (already paid for voucher) toward a replacement turbine. I see no real value in this part of new warranty policy. Why not offer it for the lifetime of the turbine like Artes does? I like the abiltiy to be able to use the $250 dollars toward repairing the a crashed engine but then again - you paid for this in advance so they SHOULD credit you.
In a nutshell it looks like you get a 3 year warranty on new engines if you maintain the 25 hour service interval (no cost is mentioned on how much that will cost - could be anything or minor depending on the condition of the engine) or you can pay an additional $250 up front for an option to extend the warranty out to 50 hours or 4 years. What about after you put 50 hours on the engine?
I guess a "limited" warranty for 3 years is better than nothing though. I would like to see what the "limited" statement is.
Regarding Sean's statement - I would also like to know this. Although, it should be less money since all you are getting is three years instead of a lifetime.
