RE: First Giant, Four Star 120 with a Ryobi 31cc Gasser
ok i'm back in the game. sorry but It's been along summer. I got married, went on a honeymoon. had no time what so ever to build. Now it's finaly starting to get cold here in Montana and the days are getting shorter which means more building for me. Any way. So lets recap. I have the wing done. I have the flaps and ailerons installed (i used robart pinned hinges) and i finaly conveted the engine compleatly. and it's ready to go. No i have to build the fuse. I think i'm going for an easier approch. I'm gonna just cut off the cheeks all togeather and just mount the engine in the stock location. Thats not final but i think it will be alot easier to construct. I also bought a Futaba 9c radio so i can set up the flaps to be in sync with the ailerons durring normal flight but then act as flaps durring take off and landing. Any way hope you readers are still out there cuz i'm gonna start posting again. hopefully i'll have this baby done before christmas if not sooner. I think the first flights are gonna be with skis on it instead of wheels. enjoy
