Default RE: pondering: District Websight Accountability

ORIGINAL: KidEpoxy

I've heard of getting banned for posting wrong,
but should AMA district forums kick AMA members that dont post at all?

Rumor going around in my PMs is this guy:
is current AMA member
is in the district concerned
has had access to the district forums
has not posted anything in those district forums
and has had his access revoked.

now, it is a Yahoo forum that is linked from the District MCLXVI website
(yes, I am not mentioning names of guys or even districts to keep this impartial.)
and at that forum:
The list will be unmoderated, members may post freely.
Membership is open to all AMA members. Please provide real name and AMA number when subscribing.
Rumor is the DVP says they have no control over the forum to help the revokee.

Should AMA have DVPs hold oversite of what happens on their district websights,
to include what is in essence the district official forum
(not claimed, but only one linked at the homepage of the district.)
or to have disclaimer that such uncontrolled forums are not Official District activity.

<if the rumors I am getting are untrue, please post the truth to clear the good name of the unamed district....
...um, we have had problems with this recently, so I'll make this eye catching
and try to keep the mystery of the involved parties intact,
this aint a fingerpointing fest / witchhunt / lynchmob>

<<< hmmm, I should keep a local copy of this post, incase the RCU server burps & this post gets disappeared>>>
Kid Epoxy,

It appears that there is more to this than you wanted us to know. How is it that you heard about it before any of the rest of us? Hmmmmmmmmmm....[:-]
