I did once see a guy have excessive foaming in his line, and found it to be that his tank was packed so frickin' tight (with foam) that it might have well just been epoxied to the fuse. . .

I tend to keep my tanks a little on the loose side, and I use the "eggcrate" type foam so there's room for the tank to"float", thanks to all the small pressure points the foam places. . .
