G'day Ed,
I got 8,800 rpm, on the ground running slightly rich, measured last SUnday morning, before I flew with the 14x8. I don't prop for huge revs, as this engine is designed to turn larger props, quieter & slower, than some engines in the .75 size range.
Great engine.
