Default Fuel tank access

I'm finishing up a Venture 60 and want to make a reasonable access to my fuel tank. I don't expect to need access the tank on a regular basis but in the event I do, I'd rather not cut up the balsa. Removing the covering doesn't faze me. Here's what I'm considering...frame a hole in the nose sheeting and place a piece of sheeting to cover, I'd lip the framing to hold the sheeting in place. I would then cover with a matching piece of covering.

Question...

Should I glue the cover? If so with something that can he heat released?

Other options?
