It might be difficult to use an older 44 engine because they were more temperamental and can't use Autostart, so I think it would be very unlikely that we will be prepared to convert an older engine to a turboprop.
Sara, could you please clarify this? The 44 Greens I have had have not been temperamental in the running sense, they just go and go. Also, why does it need to be autostart?
It is very good in theory to sell the green and buy the turboprop but now the gold is out the second hand value of the older engines is not that high (comparitively). It is worth more to me as an engine than as its cash value (unless you can do a good part ex deal
