Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

the os 18 might be more powerful than a cheap 69.00$$ .21 but nowhere compare to a ofna or os, .21 torque not there no replacement for displacement. My friend has a tmax with a siro.18 i smoked him with my plain 4 port hyper .21 and siro i think is like the best .18 out???[

Hello everyone haven`t posted in awhile but anyway i took out the ofna picco outlaw .26 and put back in my ofna 8 port .21.http://image2-0.rcuniverse.com/e1/forum/micons/m14.gif
http://image2-0.rcuniverse.com/e1/forum/micons/m14.gif the .26 was fine on pavement (man you had to have full focus on where you was pointing that bullet at all times crazy fun) but on grass that good old weaklink in the drivetrain the diffs went, sherded them to piecies will show 1 day,but was thinking maybe i should invest in metal housing.anyway want to know what engine is best O.S. Max .21 VG-P or
.21 Hyper 8-Port Race. I can not do the .18 thing just to used to torque of the .21+ POWER.and with the slipper clutch proper hardend diffs
and shims .21 no problem unless you jump i dont jump i drive my truck as if i was in ithttp://image2-0.rcuniverse.com/e1/forum/micons/m16.gif

P.S im still looking for someone to make me custom diffs much stronger than stock
I run the OS 18 TZ in my MT which has as much HP as some big blocks even more then some. Took me a while to get the drive train where it would hole up but the last couple of times I ran it no problem. I do know I had to gear it REALLY HIGH just to keep the front wheels on the ground most of the time.
