When I can't straighten them anymore I use 5/32 piano wire. Mainframe is 3/32 aircraft ply with 1/4 square spruce to go lengthwise for stiffeners. Rudder is 3/32 lightply. Runners are made from plastic kitchen cutting board. Wire landing gear is longer and wider for my less than perfect touchdowns
Cowl is from a Kyosho EP Concept that never did have enough power to fly. Batts. are 4 cell li-ion 1500 MA from a Makita drill power pack. This poor thing is as hybridized as you can get but keeps on truckin.
