Default RE: Lessons learned - beginner CPP pilot

i was practically new to rc when i got the cpp - (i hadn't touched a rc radio since the channels were merged 0 - tells my age i guess - on that day i hung up the twin .60 beechcraft and walked away from the sport "forever"), so the cx2 as a trainer helped me immensely - also the blades (and skids) for the cx2 are lots cheaper and a new body is even available for the blade strike that completely whacks off the tail - after a few crashes, the wobble that was induced by the outer shaft being bent cost about 4 bucks and all of 15 minutes to fix - i've heard the honey bee fixed pitch is a better trainer, but the lhs 'no esky, just eflight'

i'm still searching for a sim for the office - running linux fedora 7 and no windows
