Sagitta 900
Hello to all glider guiders.
In October last year I purchased a Sagitta 900 kit from a forum member whilst on holiday in the USA. This was built exactly to plan soon after Xmas. Here in the UK the weather has not been too kind to us glider enthusiasts this winter but at last some nice sunny weather has arrived so a maiden flight was organised.
A gentle launch on an electric winch and everything was perfect.
The question is where to put the C of G for optimum results? The recommended distance from LE is 3.5" however, a colleague here in the Uk tells me that the best position is 4.2" back which seems a lot on a 10" chord. So far I have moved it back to 4" without any problem and it flies extremely well and not a bit 'twitchy'.
Anyone over there have any comments? (Not rude ones)
Cheers,
