A profile 3D plane is great. But I've also seen Twists, and many other varieties all the way down to small electrics. They are all entertaining to watch. I saw a Seagull Harrier today, it was just incredible, the color combination on that machine makes it stand out like a blue tang in a saltwater fish tank. And it just does everything so nicely:

A 3D pilot I am not, I will probably never go that direction. I'm looking for something that will fly the pattern, go where I point it. I want something that doesn't require much of a landing strip, yet will still keep up with the Cubs, Alphas, and Twists that I just happen to be sharing the skies with. At the same time, I want something that will let me do stuff I could NEVER get away with on my Cessna or Hobbico Superstar. The Tango looks different, unique, a bit controversial. I'll bet Hangar 9 is gonna sell a bunch of these, just because they generate so much strife on the forums!
