Anybody use high torque servos for throttle?
It seems that most people run high speed servos for the throttle/brake and high torque for steering. My issue is that I don't seem to have enough braking force on my ravager. Granted it's the stock RTR radio, and perhaps a 5 cell reciever pack would help, but right now I can't adjust the brake bias without going to the extremes. If it's biased to the front, it has enough servo torque to lock up the front but barely touch the back. If I adjust them to be exactly the same, it doesn't have much brake overall. It's like the servo just doesn't have the balls to crank down on both at the same time with any force. My other though is that another radio that allows you to adjust the throw on the brake would help. More travel on the brake side. I did that on my rc10gt that has a better radio. Thoughts?
I'm thinking about upgrading to a better FM or spectrum radio anyway because of glitching, so maybe this is a pointless discussion.
