I would perhaps try giving a couple of the Canadian air museums a call, I know that the Calgary air museum
http://www.asmac.ab.ca/html/sabre_f86.html was restoring an F86 so they might have some resources for goldenhawks info as well. The Reynolds museum in Wetaskiwin Alberta is a vast resource of knowledge on Canadian Aviation as well and may be able to point you in the right direction.
