Hi,
I have a Hellfire RTR so the tires are already glued to the rims. How can I seperate them without destroying either?
If your tires don't balloon anymore your top speed should be less I guess?
Regards,
there are a couple of ways ---heat up oven to 180 degrees and stick the rim and tires in there for about 10 minutes and check ,additional heating may be needed if they havent started to come unglued another way is a super glue deteriator they sell it at hardware stores
for getting off silicon ,,,if all else fails a good ol hard tug will usually work ,,may ruin tires though,,,
actually i can see where ballooning may increase top speed b making the gearing larger ,,,but that would only be minimal at most
and the loss of traction would be silly....when your tire balloons it sort of rails back and forth,,,which usually happens when top fuel drag cars slip the tire under LOAD and go back and forth losing TIME== high speeds require tight non shaking movement to be exact
