From what I have read, most pilots will tell you not to put the flaps on a lever, but rather on a 2 way or 3 way switch. Also think about a flame out, if that happens, you want the gear down but may not want any flaps in order to make it back to the field. I have a 9303, but am not sure I know how to do what you're asking.
