Nothing but fun at the flying filed last weekend.

However one of the most relevant moments was when the flying filed owner, which by the way has been in this hobby for years, brought to the field this piece of machinery to show us.

I wonder if these types of engines ever work on those vintage models.
This actually has a coil and capacitor as part of the ignition system. Of course a miniature spark plug.

I wonder, that open spark cap would have produce a lot of RF noise...

Oh by the way, the engine is NIB!
