You can't use the DF4 Tx with the 4-3. However, the 4-3 manual provides an explanation (with a diagram) on converting a mode 1 tx to mode 2.

Incidentally, Greg from AirborneRC advised me that he is getting more mode 2 models in 6 weeks. I assume that will be in mid November when he gets the spare parts in.
