Just an update. Tanner flew again this weekend. Wind came up to 10-15 mph and he flew just fine. Of course on the lakebed you can turn into the wind for take off and landings, so no side slipping, it's kind of cheating Check out this picture. It was about 65-70 degrees. You would think he was in Alaska!
