All matter contains CARBON. Steel is a purer form of IRON.

We definately have to disagree.
Not all matters contain carbon. Pure Iron (chemical symbol Fe) does not contain carbon.
Steel is not = Iron.
Steel is an alloy consisting mostly of iron with a carbon content between 0.02% and 1.7%, sometimes higher.
