RE: axe cp thread
Thanks missle. Um its an empty room "1b" 1 floor below the main floor of my building i live in. The only things in there are shopping carts and a give away item table. I move the carts along the wall and the room is mine to play in. it never gets used for anything else. The shuffle board patterns you see are literally the tiles in the floor. Nobody goes down there to play any more. Im lucky every time i go there its always empty. Ya its stock batterys im using till i get the 910 lipos. I usually stay in one place as long as i can but i wanted to move it around so you could see how dumbed up the cyclic was. Im also usually about waste to chest high all the time. I was nervous on camera too. I really didnt feel hovering was that difficult once i had it trimmed and listened to all the advice online. The hard part for me i felt was getting it off the floor with training gear when i first got it. I only had the training gear on for few months. I thought they were actually hindering my learning. once they were off i felt i had more control and feel out of ground affect. the heli seemed more stable and i didnt panic in the air. I felt more in control. I had more crashes with the training gear than without just my observation. I was scared to tip over more and when the gear came off i wasnt scared of a tip over...strange eh...? Now flying in figure 8's and circles and nose in will be the real challenge. I have Trex sa skids on now which are much beefier than the stock ones and the new needle tail boom. So I feel little more confident i wont damage my boom or skids if i hit the floor hard. Next will be the mico heli cnc rotor head and slide bloc and the cnc swash and the rest I will leave plastic and stick with stock blades. Im still thinking about the gws dd tail but not sure yet of that mod.
