Reason why we don't do it is to maximize space. I have 10 planes from a Delta all the way up to a 35% Comp Arf Extra in my trailer. I would never fit that many planes assembled in a 6x12 trailer. I like to bring a variety of planes when I fly so I can choose depending on the flying site, weather, mood, etc. Other than my Stearman Bipe, it doesn't take that long to put them together.
