how do you figure a set of Align 315mm blades would work on the CP? that's the only set I can find..
That's over a 60mm change in length from stock Axe to Align blades. You could change pitch with separate Tx... a smaller pinion on the motor would just drop the head speed... a bigger pinion would pull more amps than designed for... install a bigger motor and esc... might need a longer boom... Me thinks you're out of the park on this. Please tell me you posted in the wrong forum.
oops, realized that the rear rotor won't turn with the huge blades on it... I put the battle scarred plasti-blades back on..
I was thinking that the weight and extra blade would be too much not only for the motor to spin, but also, that's a lot of extra stress on everything with the added weight and rotating and all... bad idea.. won't work..
