Default RE: Looking for jet testing in the desert

I just read your post, if you havn't found a place I have the perfect place for you.
I belong to the Muroc model masters, and our flying field is on the dry Lake at Edwards AFB, about 50 miles up the 14 freeway to antelope Valley.
We are open for Planes of course, rockets and anything else you can think of.
As far as having the room to take off and land, our field is flat in all directions for over a mile in any direction.
If you go to www.murocmodelmasters.com I believe there are some pictures of the field.
Just e-mail Ron or one of the other club officers, or me, [email protected] and we will be happy to let you fly as a guest until and if you want to join the club.
Our yearly memebership is only $25 a year, since we believe our money can be better spent on our hobby than yearly dues.
You do have to have an active AMA membership for liability reasons etc.
